PITTSBURGH -- Led by an explosive running game and another strong defensive performance, Central Catholic held off Norwin 28-14 in Friday's Week 6 AHN Friday Night Rivals powered by IGS Energy matchup broadcast live on 22 the Point.

Vikings junior running back Eddy Tillman scored two of his three touchdowns before halftime allowing Central Catholic to build a 14-7 lead at the break. Tillman finished with 261 rushing yards on 21 carries.

The Central defense was then able to slow Norwin's offense just enough in the second half to maintain a comfortable lead, despite a strong performance from Norwin's Division I quarterback recruit Jack Salopek, whose fourth quarter touchdown pass kept the game within an arm's length.

Central Catholic improves to 6-1 overall, while Norwin now sits at 2-5.
