ISSUES: Center for Victims launches new app, project focused on healing process

PITTSBURGH -- The "Center for Victims" is a nonprofit organization providing services, advocacy and education for victims of all crimes in Allegheny County, reaching 100,000 individuals each year through outreach and awareness programs.

The "Center for Victims" recently expanded its headquarters in the South Side, launched a new app aimed at assisting victims of violent crimes and abuse and also unveiled a new project focused on the healing process.

Laurie MacDonald, President and CEO and Madeline Potter, Supervisor of Specialized Victim Services recently appeared on "Issues on the Point" to discuss their new facility and new initiatives.
